Because almost everything I draw (I don't necessarily post it) is connected somehow to some kind of beasties, be they imaginary or real.



Would anyone like to start like... I'm not sure what to call this... An ecosystem of sorts? Sort of like a mini-world. We'd all compile a bunch of species, make up where they'd live, what kind of surroundings they need to survive and stuff like that. Carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. Plants, too. How's that sound?

So here's what I was thinking about.

You make up a thing. It can be a plant, a chemical, an animal, anything you'd like. Landscapes will be loved as well. If you choose to make an animal, you just draw it and basically make a bio for it's species.


The bio (for animals) can be somewhat like this:
Body: Here you describe it's build. Color is optional but not needed if you have a picture present.
Habitat: Where said creature lives.
Diet: What it eats.
Difference between sexes: How to determine whether it's male or female.
Other information: Anything else you'd like to say.

For example, let's take this dude and make a bio for his species



Species: Reptatus Abdominis (Crawling Belly in Latin Tried to find the word crawler but couldn't.)
Body: Can grow approximately 11 feet long, it's tail being around one third of it's complete body. It's spine is very flexible and the intervertebral discs in it's back are extremely durable.
It normally crawls in a zigzag manner but can reach up to 55mph/89kmph when running, although it cannot maintain said speed for long.
Habitat: Is at it's prime in moist areas and swamps.
Diet: Toads, frogs and amphibians. An occasional fish or wandering avians.
Difference between sexes: The male is usually a tad smaller or shorter than the female, and has a stockier abdomen. Both sexes have a bright green stripe on their snouts, but the female's stripe is often a bit duller.
Other Information: When threatened it screeches loudly before collecting air in a special pouch in it's throat, inflating it's neck to seem bigger. The female lays 4-5 leathery eggs per batch.
